In order to significantly increase monitoring and user awareness within this large marine protected area of more than 12,000 hectares, which benefits from the financial support of the initiative since 2018, The MedFund has approached  the Monaco Explorations  in order to provide the National Agency of Protected Areas (co-manager of the site with the local NGO Flag Pine) with a semi-rigid boat that will be transported to Albania in the coming days. This Monaco Explorations donation is a real added value for the management of the Karaburun Sazan MPA and is in line with The MedFund’s desire to strengthen the efficiency of Mediterranean MPAs so that they contribute as effectively as possible to the preservation of marine ecosystems.
